Meet Our Team

Allen McCabe - Owner/President

Allen was born in Lewes, Delaware and graduated from Indian River High School. He began his career in the Poultry Processing Industry at Perdue in Georgetown, DE in 1981 working in Maintenance and Fabrication. He spent another 13 years working as Engineer / Maintenance Manager in Poultry Plants. Allen started his business venture in the garage of his home in 1998. That was the beginning of McCabe's Mechanical. McCabe's Mechanical Service, Inc. was incorporated in 2002 and has continued to spread to new and exciting projects. We now have a thriving business with 25 full time employees.

Tina Moore - Office Administrator

Tina worked for Poultry Processing Equipment companies for several years before joining McCabe's Mechanical Service in 2010. She worked at Conaway Processing Equipment Co. and later for Linco Food Systems. Tina handles all aspects of accounting, correspondence, some fleet duties, human resource responsibilities, quoting and desk sales, and customer service. She even assists the sales team as needed.

Buffy Eskridge - Office Manager

Buffy obtained a BS Degree in Accounting from Wilmington University. She started her career at Perdue in Georgetown in 1998. When she left there in June of 2004, she went to work for Allen Family Foods, and she worked there until May of 2017. She briefly worked outside of the poultry industry until she started working at McCabe’s in December of 2020. She can now be found in the front office, where she works on the day-to-day duties, to include accounting, quoting, billing and customer service.

Nancy Elliott - Administrative Assistant

Most recently, Nancy worked at a local non-profit agency where she had worked for 14 years. Before starting at McCabe's full-time in August of 2022, she first worked here part-time nights and weekends. She helped with the overflow of paperwork two to three times per week. Now, she will be found in the front office during regular office hours, helping with a variety of duties.

Tom Jarvis - Shop Foreman

"Tommy" has been doing sheet metal fabrication and welding since 1988. He is one of the original employees of McCabe's Mechanical Service. Tommy works with the CAD drawings and oversees the day-to-day operations in the shop. He coordinates shop staff and jobs, to make sure the job is done on time and done right.
